Holidays are great... But I love the days in between. The days when time just flows.
For the first time in my life, I've been doing "retail therapy". An interesting experience, but not as good as my usual simple living. I need balance, so today I begin a "Shop No Things" period.
I think the key ingredients to a more joyful life is to clear away the unneccessary and take notice of the sources of joy that are already in my life.
Life is no way near perfect, and neither am I. The key to a simpler, more joyful life is accepting that and building on the good parts.
I'm thinking to much about habits, and forgetting to practice them. Time for a Reboot.
